Dimokratias Avenue is the closest thing Alexandroupolis has to a main shopping street — clothing, accessories, and home goods stores lined up over a few walkable blocks, with cafés along the way to break up the browsing.
It's less about specific must-visit shops and more about the pleasant, unhurried walk itself — a good way to spend an hour between other plans.
