Kyklopas is an award-winning, family-run olive mill in Makri — by most counts the most-awarded olive oil producer in Greece — set among olive groves that rank among the oldest in the Mediterranean, a short walk from the Cyclops Cave.
The mill runs free tours most days, walking through the pressing process and finishing with a tasting, and it's a genuinely different kind of stop from the beach-and-ruins itinerary most visitors default to.
