Landmark — Marina, city centre
The old customs house and rail depot buildings sit right at the marina, their ochre facades and red-tile roofs giving the harbour its most photographed backdrop. Fishing boats and small yachts moor directly in front, with the modern city rising behind.
It's an easy stop on any walk along the seafront — pair it with a coffee at one of the harbourside cafés and watch the boats come in.
