Historic building — City centre
The Zarifios Academy operated as a school for local children through the city's transition from Ottoman Dedeagach to Greek Alexandroupolis, and the building survives today as one of the more distinctive pieces of that era's architecture.
It's not set up as a formal museum, so this is a stop for the building itself rather than an interior visit — pair it with the nearby Metropolis Square and Ethnological Museum for a short walk through the city's turn-of-the-century core.
