Religious site — City centre
Built at the end of the 19th century alongside the Metropolitan Church of St. Nicholas and the mosque, St. Joseph's is the city's Catholic parish — a small, quiet counterpoint to the Orthodox churches that dominate elsewhere in town.
Mass is held in Greek on the second and fourth Sunday of the month at 6pm; outside those times, it's a modest, easy stop on a walk through the centre rather than a destination in its own right.
