Museum — City centre
The Natural History Museum of Alexandroupolis focuses on the biodiversity of the wider region — the Evros Delta, Dadia Forest, and the Thracian coast — through interactive displays built with families and school groups specifically in mind.
It's a natural complement to an actual visit to the delta or Dadia: seeing the taxidermy and displays here first (or after) fills in species detail that's hard to get from an observation tower at a distance.
A good rainy-day or midday-heat option, especially travelling with kids who need a break from beaches and ruins.
